Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Summerhill Goat Milk
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, slightly melted and cooled
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make It

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Stir until smooth.
  4. Add in the egg, extra yolk, vanilla, and milk, and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients and stir until just combined—don’t overmix.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Chill the dough for 30–60 minutes (optional but helps make them extra chewy).
  8. Scoop dough into balls (about 2 tbsp each) and place on a baking sheet with space in between.
  9. Bake for 10–13 minutes or until edges are golden but centers look slightly underbaked.
  10. Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
